Application and characteristics: two-component water-based polyurethane varnish. The varnish is used to create a protective coating on decorative plasters, mineral, cement and brick substrates. The varnish can also be applied to wooden surfaces. Ideal for application on FEIDAL MikroZement. Designed to protect walls and floors in domestic premises, including kitchens, bathrooms and shower areas. It has high wear resistance, very low water absorption, and is resistant to washing with household cleaning products.

Composition: component 1 — special acrylic dispersion, water, functional additives and component 2 — aliphatic polyisocyanate, functional additives.
According to European standards, the content of volatile organic compounds (VOC) in a product of category A/j must not exceed 140 g/l (since 2010). This product contains less than 105 g/l of VOC.

Surface preparation: the surface must be uniformly prepared, solid, dry, free of grease, dust, chalk and lime. Remove mold, moss and fungus mechanically and treat the affected areas with FEIDAL Schimmel-Ex mold inhibitor. When applying to wooden surfaces, clean the base to clean wood, sand and remove dust, and prime the surface with FEIDAL Klarlack varnish diluted 30% with water.

Application method: mix component 1 and component 2 (mixing ratio: add 38 parts of component 2 to 100 parts of component 1), mix thoroughly, leave for 5-10 minutes, and then mix again. To apply the first layer, add up to 5% water, do not dilute the last layer of coating. The varnish can be applied with a brush or roller. For walls inside the room, apply 2 layers of varnish, and for floors, bathrooms and shower cabins - 3 layers. When applying to wooden surfaces, 2-3 layers with intermediate sanding are provided. For sanding, use fine-grained sandpaper No. 180-220. Remove dust thoroughly. Work at t° of the environment and the base not lower than +7 °C and not higher than +30 °C.

Average consumption: 8-10 m2/l of a single-layer coating (depending on the quality and type of the base).

Drying time: 30 min — dust resistance, 2 hours — touch resistance, 24 hours — the next layer can be applied, 10-14 days — can be subjected to full load.

Cleaning of tools: rinse with water after use.

Storage: in a tightly closed container at t° not lower than +7 °C, in a dry and cool place. Protect from frost! Guaranteed shelf life 2 years.

Safety measures: work in work clothes, gloves, use respiratory and eye protection. In case of contact with eyes, rinse with water. Keep out of reach of children! Do not pour into the sewer.

Important: mix component 1 and component 2 only with each other! The pot life of the finished varnish is up to 5 hours.
