Caparol Stucco DI PERLA – decorative plaster with metallic sheen for individual decorative design of interior walls and ceilings

Scope of application:

For high-quality decorative finishing of interior surfaces of hotels, cafeterias, restaurants, offices, doctors' offices, apartments, clinic premises, etc.

Properties:

• is dilutable with water;
• is capable of diffusion;
• is easy to use;
• withstands high mechanical loads.

Colour: Silver - base.

Technical information according to DIN EN 13300:

• Wet abrasion: class 2;
• Grain size: fine.
• Density: approx. 0.97 g/cm3.

Substrate:

The substrate must be clean, dry and load-bearing. The surface must first be smoothed (e.g. with Caparol Glattspachtel) to ensure that there are no irregularities, damage or shrinkage cracks. The surface must then be coated with Samtex E.L.F. according to the technical instructions without structure with a color tone matching the tone of the subsequent coating

Recommendations for applying the material:

• working stage.

Evenly apply the Capadecor StuccoDecor DI PERLA putty of the desired color tone, diluted with water by about 20%, to the prepared surface using a short-pile roller. The material consumption is approximately 40 ml/m².

• working stage.

Apply the Capadecor StuccoDecor DI PERLA putty without dilution of the same color tone with a Venetian trowel until complete coverage, after a technological break, process/structure the surface using the same trowel. This results in a characteristic velvety surface. The consumption of Capadecor StuccoDecor DI PERLA is approximately 80 ml/m2.

Attention!

To avoid visible layers, it is necessary to cover the surface using the "wet on wet" technique without interruptions. The application of the material is affected by drafts and elevated substrate temperature.

Consumption: approximately 120-150 ml/m2 for a smooth coating with two-layer application. The exact consumption is determined by trial application on the object.
